It's a toss-up for me as to which one will be joining my Ms. Pacman...I have reasons I want each one over the other.

Just for fun...which would you get, and why....

Both great games... Galaga would "LOOK" nicer being it's in the same cabinet as your Ms. Pac...

You can throw a 60-1 w/out hacking anything into your Ms Pac and play Galaga. Centipede has better art, and the dedicated TB setup is better than most 60-1 setups.

I would get the 'Pede.

I'd get the 'Pede. Better art and the trackball makes it harder to emulate well. You will probably end up with a MAME cab or a XX-in-1 that will play Galaga just fine.

Thanks for the answers guys! I too, think Galaga would look alot better next to Ms. pac, and it's also a slightly better game IMO. The problem is, they rarely come up for sale around here.

I'm leaning toward the Centipede for a couple reasons. First, it was one of my favorites as a kid, and also I know where to get one. I just have to wait until the guy realizes he isn't getting $700 for it, and then offer him $500 which is what it's worth to me!

Get the Centipede, buy a Millipede board, adapter to play in Centipede and the Braze multikit and have both Centipede and Millipede. I did, it is a fixture in my gamecondo.

I have both, After i had owned Galaga for a while i found that i was playing Centipede more. Both are great games but i find Centipede to be more of a challenge plus it looks amazing! You can't go wrong either way, Galaga is probably the most popular game in my Arcade with guests.

Good luck,

Braido...

Galaga is one of the most recognized arcade games of all times. Sure everyone knows pac but I find that most people would rather play galaga.

I say Galaga its really fun if you shoe horn a 25" monitor in it.I did that to mine and love it. It seems that at my last couple parties people enjoy the game allot more, also lots of compliments on it. If you go the centipede route I personally would take Millipede over centipede and then throw the multipede kit in it.

I'd got for Centipede. There are tons of ways to play Galaga that are acceptable, and only one way to play Centipede that I've found.

Centipede all the way. Galaga is a great game, but Centipede is even better. The cabinet artwork is much cooler looking, at the use of a trackball makes the game more interesting than just a joystick.

I vote for Centipede. It is definitely a top-5 classic game, everyone remembers it and the cabinet has awesome artwork. Galaga is pretty bland (a black cabinet with stickers, WTH???) in comparison. Chicks dig Centipede.

I do think that overall Galaga is more popular though. You really can't go wrong with either of these games.
