Centipede? Ummmm....

Yikes. Good idea, but terrible follow-thru. The rickety chair in front of it seems to sum up the cab.

$895, uh no.

Some Gameworks arcades had rows of classics in those same crappy cabinets. No doubt this one was pulled from location, claims about it being custom made for an "executive" to the contrary. :)

+1! Former Gameworks inventory. I'm sure it was much easier for them to find working boardsets and make uniform cabinets for their locations than to find/resotre original pieces.

The Dallas GameWorks had 5 or 6 of those games stacked in a row when I was there last. Seems like Frogger, Xevious and Donkey Kong were a few of the other games in this cabinet.

That kind of reminded me that The Sega Center in Fox Hills Mall, Culver City, Ca
had a bunch of games in built in cabs that looked good.

I played a Moon Patrol in one of these cabinets before at GameWorks in Vegas.

Personally, I hate them.

Dare I say? Welcome to last year?
That guy has been trying to sell that ufkin rediculous looking centipede on ebay for the last couple months.
He was originally asking even more iirc lol.

they are always close to the bar/food area, in rows for candy cab like sitdown action, I seem to always walk right by when/if I ever go to a gameworks...been at least 3+ years

God, its ugly :D

Reminds me somehow of the "living room" style version of Polyplay :p:

The Columbus Ohio GameWorks had this exact style of Centipede, in addition to Gorf, Missile Command, and Asteroids in these ridiculous cabinets about 5 years ago...

They really are hideous.

Kyle

I think it's kinda cool actually. I would never buy it, but it's so odd that it gets a nod from me for being original.

looks like someone took apart a old wood coutch from the 1970's and maid a arcade cab out of it.. lol

but damn that looks like it came out of a old black n white western movie with cowboys & indians

Oops! I created another thread about it....apologies everyone! But,yeah...that is one fugly ass cabinet! Grandma's poor old dresser got cannibalized to create Dresser-pede!

So am I correct in assuming that Brett/DPTwiz should stop programming this cabinet into the CNC as no one seems to want this one!!!
