Picked up a Centipede that was missing the board. Picked up a Millipede board since my intention is to Multipede it. I see 3 ways to do this.

1 - use Arcadeshop's adapter board
2 - replace the centi harness with a milli harness (run alongside the centi for easy conversion back to centi)
3 - move the pins in the centi harness to the milli positions

Obviously the adapter board makes things quick and easy, but i don't really like having an extra board in the mix as it's one more point of failure waiting to happen. Adding the Milli harness is a bit more expensive than the adapter and a bit more work to tie wrap to the existing harness and keep neat. Modding the Centi harness doesn't cost, but then you have a modded harness. Anyone have any other pros and cons I should consider? How have most of you guys done yours?

Will the Arcadeshop adapter board let you play both Centipede and Millipede in the Centipede cabinet?

Looks like the adapter wins. :) Thought about it a bit more and it's just too easy not to do it that way. Time to order one and hope the Millipede board I picked up works.

Funny, I was just wondering the same thing. I like the Centipede artwork so much better than Millipede. But the Millipede game is better.

If you need a working Millipede board with the multipede kit KLOV member Nash has one for a fair price.
