Does anybody make a Centipede cabinet to JAMMA PCB adaptor?

I checked Arcadeshop, and they have a JAMMA cabinet to Centipede PCB adaptor, but they don't list the opposite.

It's bad enough that the customer is having us replace the trackball with a joystick, but I'd rather not replace the harness if I don't have to. I know I'll have to rewire part of the CP, but didn't know if the trackball input wiring could map to the joystick directions thru an adaptor.

Somebody save the harness!

I've made them before, but I'm never happy about doing it

I'm set up to play arkanoid/ark II/free kick/goindol in my centipede CT

I'm going to shoot my stupid question allotment of the day (1) early today, but why won't this adapter work "both ways"?

I keep a bunch of edge connectors and finger boards on hand for just such an occasion. It sucks but sometimes you just have to build your own.

Be careful that you don't overdrive the sound amp on the ARII and explode your ear drums/speaker.

1. Wrong gender (And even if you took the edge connector off the finger side and put edge connectors where the finger side, the sides would be flipped.)

2. Power coming in would be driving the outputs of regulators, with nothing connected on the inputs.

3. Same with the audio amp.

Honestly, the best thing to do is gut the game and keep the parts... a centipede harness / PS / ARII is worth more to you than a JAMMA harness + switcher, and you're going to be charging the customer for the new parts anyway...

Thank you Mark, I think you just saved me a future headache!

Hey Mark, you had mentioned in the past you have done something like this in the past for running a JAMMA game in a Nintendo cabinet. Do you one kicking around or could you make one for me? My Nintendo cab has the little black plugs shoot me a PM with a price

i made them and tested them w/ a nintendo to JAMMA adapter on my bench, (Yes, jamma board + jamma -> nintendo + nintendo -> jamma + jamma test bench -- wasn't pretty), but haven't actually dropped one in a real cabinet yet.

it's for the edge connector harness, so you'd need the little connector to edge connector adapter too.

I wouldn't mind picking up one of your little connector to edge connector boards either if it is needed. It would make swapping Nintendo boards easier which is a plus.

My wiring is all original in my DKjr and I would like to keep it that way but at the same time I would really like to be able to run a 48-in-1 on occasion for some of the games I don't have room for. I bet a few people on the this board would be interested as well.

So does your board handle the video inversion as well or would I need to pick up a video inverter board as my monitor is currently with out one.

It's got video inversion and a cable for the speaker to plug into directly, bypassing the amp on the monitor.

well if you wanna test it up and make sure all is well and pm me a price for the works I will shoot ya the paypal. This would be a great little adapter for people with limited space like me.

no worries I will try to remember to send you a message once it starts to thaw out besides I need to improve my DKjr skills anyway
