Well I searched all over here and google...
I picked up a board off e-bay with no sound... He is what I have done so far and still nothing ... Swapped pokey c3 chip.. replaced lm324, checked my 12 and -5 voltages . Swapped out speaker and ohmed wires to speaker, Also jumped out volume pot.... In search's and lookign at the audio output prints I dont know where to go from here...Any Ideas... I checked the pokey socket and seems like it has been replaced with a double swipe,... I did reflow all the joints on the sockets also.... Thanks Matt

This is where an audio probe, logic probe with audio, or an oscilloscope would come in handy.

The idea is to check the output of the POKEY chip then follow that signal until it disappears. You have a bad component somewhere and without the ability to follow the signal you'll just be replacing things blindly until you find it.

I see a few new tools in my future... Getting them is the easy part, learning how to use them will be another story..... I swapped out the arII also... It was from a know working machine.... Can you measure any type of voltage from the brown and white wires from the board or the orange and white from the arII that would narrow it down ?

EDIT**** One more thing... When I set the test switch to test I very briefly get a 5 in the upper left then it goes out... Also the slam switch has no effect during test attract or game play...
