I have a friend who just picked up a Centipede UR. It's in decent shape but very solid. We're planning on rebuilding the control panel. The only other issue he has with it is the sideart. It is REALLY stained. Not sure what it is. I've never seen anything like it. I tried to clean it with a magic eraser but it was very, very slow going. Can't tell if it's really doing anything.

Anyone have a tip for how to clean it up? Any safe chemical that can be used? The sideart is pretty decent overall, and we were hoping to not have to buy a set.

Try Magic Eraser, if you are lucky its just a surface stain. I had a Crystal Castles with that nicotine film on it that came right off with a ME.

Diluted simply green or greased lightning. I wouldn't use GL on anything but the white parts though.

Those are for cleaning though, not sure they do much for yellowing.

Westley's BLECH-WITE. Amazing stuff - removes nicotine, dirt, mold and grime. Watch it on vinyl decals. I have even used it on pinball playfields and plastics with no harm. I start every resto/ cleanup with it! Wal Mart - a couple of dollars.
