no audio yet (need to rewire speaker) so no self test, but at a glance, RAM?

Yes.

Put it in test mode and count the beeps to see which RAM it is.
 
Guess you missed the 'no audio' part....

...but in any case, from the pic... I'd say K5.... PFD4 is flakey... If not the RAM, check the mux at L6.

No, I didn't. He needs to fix that if he wants to know which RAM chip it is without guessing.
 
Sooo....
Finally got around to working on this, bad pot for volume so I got 4 beeps in test.
Changed k5 and in play mode game seems to look fine now (no idea about play, I have the CP out for a new CPO install), but in test it is giving a constant high pitch tone.

Watchdog? 2114?
