After playing my centipede cabaret for about 6-10 minutes the screen goes into a scrambled state. I will change big blue and the fuse holder and all fuses. I pulled the G07 chassis and it looked ok. Unit takes about 30 seconds once turned on till video displays. I am sure that this is a flyback issue. All chips and solder joint were checking ok on the g07 chassis. Seems to be a main board issue I would guess. Any chips on the pcb to check out? Cabinet wiring is not hacked too.

update;

ok- I just changed all fuses then adjusted the B+ on the monitor chassis. It was reading 108v. I set it to 120v and readjusted the pots on the monitor board and it stopped scrolling. I will let it run for a few hours and shut it off a few times to recheck to verify if all is well.

Update; 10 minutes after making this adjustment the monitor scolling started. Looks like it needs a cap kit now

Just recapped G07 - colors look great however unit still scrambles video about 4-5 minutes into game play.

I just replaced the vertical hold pot and still have the same issue. Gonna take the game board out and toss it in my buddies cab and see what it does next.

Have you tried adjusting the H FREQ after it warms up ?
I'm assuming by scrambled image you mean it's still playable, sounds etc, just bad picture.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks alot for the tip- I just replaced the H frequency pot and the monitor looks like brand new now with no issues. YEAH
