I know I can figure this out myself, but I was wondering if anyone could save me the time, and verify what it takes to run a Centipede PCB in a Millipede cab (i.e., with a Millipede harness)?

I just want to be able to do this for test purposes, to verify Centipede PCBs. I know Centipede uses an AR-II-02, so it needs +12V and -5V. Many Millipede cabs shipped with -02's, even though the boards don't use the extra voltages, but some have -04's, so I know a -02 is needed for Centipede. But I'm not even sure if there are wires in the harness to get the extra voltages to the board, or how much the pinouts differ otherwise.

Anyone tried it?

um, if u ran a millipede pcb in a millipede cab, you could get the blaze kit and run both centipede and millipede. you can't do that vice versa.

I'm aware. I have a Millipede PCB with a Braze kit already.

As stated, I just want to run Centipede boards to test them out, post-repair.

Google much? :p

Would be easier than making your own, I guess.

I actually did google, but all of the links I saw were for going the other way, and I must have missed that one. Good to know there's an adapter though (funny, as I literally was about to place an order with AS tomorrow), and thank you for the link.

I'm still interested to know what the actual technical differences are however, from anyone who has looked into it. (e.g., there looks to be a couple of regulators on that adapter, what are they used for, are the pinouts even close, etc).

Worst case I'll make up a spreadsheet to compare pinouts, but was just looking to save time if someone already did the analysis.

Looks like the Milli harness has+/-22V as optional. Thus allowing LDO on the adapter board to provide missing voltages (not provided by alternate ARII).

I have a Milli/Centi/MC word doc that lists each. Never got around to making a spreadsheet. Go to mikes and download the pinouts.

"Blaze kit". Does it only work once/day at 4:20? LOL.
