Well, after the problem with my first Centipede board, I thought it would be wise to just buy another board for it.
When receiving this board, I now see that there is only LEFT/RIGHT movement - no UP/DOWN - which works fine with the other board.
What part of the Centipede board controls the Trackball signals, and how does one go about inspecting some of the components for faults? Is there any components more prone to failure than others? I have my other Centipede boards, which had 100% working trackball control at hand, if parts should be needed to swap.
