Centipede LIVES!

Jow,

Where in San Clemente do your parents live? I was born and raised there. Have they lived there long? Did you grow up there?

My parents live in Oceanside, but I went up to San Clemente to grab the monitor. San Clemente is a nice place, for sure. I cant imagine its cheap to live there.

I grew up in NorCal.

I got the monitor from wisenheimr.

Good dude, for sure.

Flights were delayed so bad yesterday that he didnt get home till after midnight last night. All the buildup will have to wait another day, ha.

I just bought a centipede cabinet...hope I can get her up and going when I get home.

Did you buy the one with Street Fighter 2 in it? I think I also saw another one at a hobby store in Baytown recently.

In any case, reading this thread makes me want to work on my Centipede when I get home later today, I'm tired of seeing it dead.

nope

I bought it off craigslist the cabinet looked very clean, no board. To me the cabinet is the most important part anyway.

Good story. I was in high school when Centipede came out. It was always a chick game. I just picked one up recently and kinda reaffirmed that. I'm also on the lookout for a Millipede game so I can Multi-pede the thing. Just beware...once you get hooked on Millipede, Centipede will never be the same.

centipede lives

Great story there !!
My friend and i pumped tooooo many coins into that game at the time . The story i`ve heard , was that a lady designed those colors , and at the time it was ground breaking work , someone else might add to this , but the colors on this game mezmerize !!!

I pitty the people who have to play this game on some million game mame set up ,, as a trackball is the only way to go , joysticks are way too slow .Paul .

I'd love a centipede game for my basement, I've seen lots of donor cabs but not one yet with good artwork on it.
