Centipede high score saving

I have a Centipede that won't save the high scores.

I tested the -30V test lug, and it has -30V. But the -30V pin on the ER-2055 chip itself is only about -2V. Strange. I re-seated the chip, and the same thing.

I was thinking maybe C26 shorted, but I would expect bigger problems if that happened, right? Maybe there's a broken trace? What's going on?
 
Probably a trace. The socket could also be bad. Check for -30v at C26 and what the volts are there. You could also remove the chip and check the volts at the socket.

Yeah, the chip was socketed backwards. All the pins have the correct voltage, so I'll see if the it works tomorrow. Hopefully the -30V to the wrong pin didn't damage anything.
