Took this video with my cell phone (didn't realize I was holding it sideways) and it's not good, but if you look closely, you can see some glitchiness in how the spider and the shooter seem to "ghost" upwards occasionally. Sometimes you see it in the centipede coming down. The ghosting will sometimes keep you from moving all the way down to where a mushroom is on the bottom of the screen.

Anyone have any ideas? Unfortunately, the game is over an hour away at a commercial location and the guy didn't want me to take the game board home to check it out (after I went there to fix a bad ARII and some hacked control panel wiring on a game he said was "100% working" just the other day).

Anyway, here's the crappy video. look sharp...

I'd start by looking at the Motion Object circuit - but you'll need to 'persuade' the guy to let you take the board - perhaps swap it with another? :)

Yep Motion Object. IIRC there's a couple of LS83 adders in there somewhere, and I'd start with those.

Tell the guy it's going to be $250 to drag all your test equipment back to his house if you can't take be board with you. :p

It would be easier to get one of my Centipede boards from the stacks working, then take it down there to swap out, charge him something, then bring his back to fix sometime...
