Hi All!

I am looking for some information on a Centipede / Donkey Kong machine. I have never seen these two together in the same cabinet before and I haven't been able to find any information on the net about it.

dont think there is a production machine like that , but easily done with a 60 in one with trackball support. 48 in one has both but no trackball

I think you're talking about some company out of Florida that was cobbling together interesting combinations, but they have long since gone out of business. I think some of their machines still pop up on eBay every once in a while from private sellers. Don't hold your breath waiting around for this combo, just put together a 60 in 1 as it has both games.

Thanks for the info. I have attached a picture of the system. Is this thing worth buying? Also, what price should I offer for it?

What are they asking for it? I personally think the cab is neat, and the control scheme seems well thought out. Those Atari looking cabarets are cool too (IMO).

They are asking $300, but I can probably talk them down. Right now I own an original DK Jr. Machine and I am looking for Donkey Kong. I can buy this or I can get an original Donkey Kong machine with no sound for $250.

Thank you so much for all the help! I believe I'll buy the original DK machine so it'll match my Junior. I got a good deal on that one. Only paid $120 and all it needed was a cap kit.

If it's the one from the pipcture in this thread - the trackball's on the wrong side!!!!

That would play havoc with gameplay.

I think thats just setup for a right handed player. I would probably like Centipede/Millipede better if I could control the TB with my left hand.

I would go with the broken dedicated DK but would try to talk them down. $250 is a little steep for a broken game. $300 isn't too bad for that combo machine but you wouldn't catch me buying one.

How many games are you going to buy in your lifetime? If the answer is less than 5 or Wha??? then go with the DK/Centipede combo. Remember, we're a bunch of collectors here, so the non-original combo game will get no love. But if you only care about playing the games, that is your best buy for the money. I'd buy it for $300, but they'd revoke my KLOV membership... er, I mean it's too far away. ;)

the trackball is on the wrong side. i just traded an original centipede cocktail and the trackball was on the right.

A broken game? The sound isnt working. Its probably a matter of capping the sound board ($7) and being good to go. Sanyo Monitor + DK Boardset is well worth the $250 price tag.

Funny, as Im reading this thread my Centipede and Donkey Kong are sitting right next to each other in front of me. I never thought about combining the two that's for sure.
