OK, I'm stumped. How does the top glass come off of a Centipede cocktail? I want to install the art from AS.

???

the picture on klov kind of looks like there is a clip on one of the corners.

If I remember..

I know it sounds weird, but I could have sworn you have to remove the glass by unscrewing something from "inside" the cocktail cabinet?!! Its been a while since I saw one removed (I haven't removed one myself)...hmmmm

Good Luck

Is that a black double sided glue strip on the perimeter of the glass top?
It sure looks like it to me.

Looks like it to me too.

You'll have to take a razor blade or such and work your way all the way around it.
I generally try to split the foam section of the tape and then worry about clean up after I get the stuff separated.

And yes, there are suppose to be clips holding it down.

I'd then scrape the foam away with a plastic scraper (wont scratch glass), then poor naptha on it to break it down, then you should be able to wipe it away after a minute or so when the naptha turns the foam/glue to a goo.

I think you can get away with naptha on the vinyl surface too, I've had good luck in it not desroying vinyl.

There's double-sided foam tape underneath the black border all around the edge of the glass... you're going to have to pry it, and you're going to lose a bunch of the border...

Or don't pry it and use the previous methods of a razor and chemicals to eliminate the force factor.

Fixing with violence generally works, but not a good path here.
