Centipede Cabinet: Thick paint and a hole.

Picked up a $75 Centipede off Craigslist this past week... I've never seen paint this thick.

Someone did a very nice job of cutting out a rectangular piece of wood from the side and then filled it in. It actually is a pretty darn nice job, tight fit.

Any ideas on that one? I hate to say this but it almost looks factory because the screws used to for the filler panel match the screws used in other parts of the cabinet?

Looks like someone broke in to steal the board, and skillfully replaced the panel to hide their tracks. (lol).
Grab some of Darin's side art and clean that sucker up :)

Yeah, the outside needs a complete overhaul. And it's taken me a couple days to get the insides straight... I had to replace all the optos and most of the trackball circuit chips.

My son's playing it right behind me now... purely for "testing" purposes. :D
