Ok, so friend gave me a Centipede cab that had been converted to Time Soldiers at one point. It still has the original Atari power supply and AR sound board in it so I want to try and restore it to a centipede.

Here is a picture, I did just a little with a few layers of Goof Off and scraping. I had no idea I would find anything underneath.

Question is, how do I strip the paint off the sides, keeping the original artwork in tact as much as possible?

I'll check it out. I looks like the artwork was all sanded and then a grey primer was applied before the blue. *Sigh*.

Can you find Citri Strip at local hardware stores?

Well, if the artwork has been sanded down, it may not be worth the work. Yeh you can get it at Home Depot or Lowes or problably your local hardware store.

3M Safest Stripper is what I used. The Atari sideart is really tough stuff. The acetone in the pic was used for final cleanup. Even it didn't phase the artwork.
