Centipede ARII Pin out J6 Help! Blowing F3 (20A 32V) every time I turn it on.

Can anyone with a centipede machine please take a picture of the J6 connector? I think mine is wired wrong and blowing F3 (20A 32V) every time I turn it on.

I had a machine shipped to me from Michigan and it arrived today... ARII and PCB hanging by their wires. The J6 connector had a loose purple wire.

The connector has 6 pin holes but only 4 are used. I need to know how they're laid out and could use some help.

Currently mine looks like this and I don't think it's right:

From the harness:
(o)(o)( )
(o)(o)( )

At the board:
1**2**3
( )(o)(o)
( )(o)(o)
4**5**6

Are Star Wars and Centipede ARII boards interchangeable?

Yes they are. Here's a useful reference: http://www.elektronforge.com/AudioRegs.htm

The loose violet wire (GND) in the picture goes in position #1.

By putting it in position #5 (a 10.3VDC line) you are shorting out the 10.3VDC line, which is blowing your fuse.

The answer to this question, and many more, was found the the wiring diagram and schematics: http://arcarc.xmission.com/PDF_Arcade_Atari_Kee/Centipede/

A huge thank you.

While I was working in there anyway, I went ahead and replaced the bridge rectifier (which looked perfectly fine and I'll probably keep the original around), the fuse bank (which also looked nice and clean--I'll keep), all of the fuses and Big Blue.

She's up and running. Now for locks, coin-mechs and coin bucket!

Also: I did look at those schematics and I think I found J6 but I'm not terribly good at reading these diagrams. I should buy a dummies book on electrical engineering.
