Alright boys and girls, I've been working on this for awhile now and managed to locate the company that originally manufactured the centering grommets for Wico, Taito and Midway joysticks.
I'm going to offer these up IF there is interest, as well as expand the offerings as time goes by. Price point is not determined (but I'm aiming for $10-13) I'm just looking for interest right now.
How many would you want and of which style???

I need one for an original Pengo joystick. Any idea which joystick model that is?

At any rate, I'll buy a few of the Wicos as well.

I have 4 8-way wico's and could use them.
very frustrating trying to buy these online.
I'm definitely interested.
thank you.

Silly question, but why not get the whole darn sticks made instead of just the grommets?

I need a grommet for a Stern Scramble joystick. Would one of these work? I think it used a Monroe joystick. Not sure if the grommets are the same. If it works, count me in. Thanks.

There are tons of used bases out there, NOS 3.5 sticks for sale, and 4" have been repro'd. People mostly need to rebuild the original sticks I'd think.

I'm sure I'd buy several of the Wico style and a couple for Taito sticks.

Scramble used a small Wico stick.....what most people refer to as a Taito stick. Most Stern games used this small stick....as did Game Plan, and some Centuri games (and Taito).

Eh, I think there is plenty of demand for complete sticks. Seen them go from being $5 each to $30+ each in the past 10 years. That would seem to indicate that the supplies of them are getting short.

You are assuming he is getting them made. Maybe he is, I don't know. IIRC, I thought they were an off the shelf part or maybe an off the shelf part that Wico ordered with a custom size. Unlike the plastic body and the stick which Wico had to make.

The entire stick would require a lot more effort and money from me.
If the grommets sell and I'm not stuck with piles of them and empty pockets I might look into the whole assembly, but I don't think there is enough demand.
Also, there are so many variations that I wouldn't know where to begin.
4 way, 8 way, Wico, Taito, Midway,
which base, stick shaft, ball etc.
One thing at a time :)

I think Wico Dust Washers would sell fast too (and shouldn't cost much at all to make).
