I have gotten a wow in a trade earlier in the summer. and all it needs is to have the picture moved over to the right about a half a inch. Never worked on these at all. if anyone could send pics or a diagram that would be awsome.

No need for a diagram, it's real simple. On the back of the monitor chassis there are two wire jumpers, each with three possible tabs. The one on the left is the horizontal centering jumper. Move it over to it's left tab.

You most likely won't be able to move it as much as you'd like, but you need to try moving your H-Centering jumper position....

sorry im very green when it comes to this stuff your post has gone over my head. and second if it needs to move to the right I need to move the wire to the left? a pic may help

If your pic needs to move to the right from the front, then that would be your left from the back...

The names of the jumpers, and what the tabs do, are printed on the board. But yes, the leftmost tab is "right shift". It's very possible that the jumper is already on that one, in which case, you might not be able to move it over any further. Sometimes some minor adjustments to the horizontal frequency control can scoot the picture around a bit. Too far and you'll lose your horizontal hold though :)

The picture won't always be perfectly centered on the monitor. If it's real bad (getting cut off on the edge), then there is probably something wrong. If not, than it might just be the way it is.
