Celebrity game collectors??

Spielberg is a HUGE game fan. In fact, I have heard that he would routinely have deluxe Sega arcade machines (such as "The Lost World" sit-in unit) brought to the set of movies that he was working on. Of course, Gameworks was started through a collaboration between "Dreamworks SKG" and Sega...

John Candy had some video games. They were sold off after he died.

I'd guess that Gene at Vintage Arcade Superstore has sold games to celebrities around LA.

The guy that played "The Sun" in the Jimmy Dean commercials used to (or maybe still does)post here, as did a guy who drove the Wienermobile... ;)

...mtv cribs... showed the Heffner gameroom, there wasn't more than ~20 games...(and the 3 Playboy pins)

the creator of the "Burnout" game serie, had bought since many pinballs. there was picture in a french magazine years ago.

I have seen that and said the same thing, but there must be more than one, or a new once since that, because it was much larger. My buddies, said that it is a ways from the house and out in some woods on the compound. Who knows, but I am hoping to find out next time I am out there.

Steven Spielberg was a huge Missile Command fan. He wrote the introduction to the Martin Amis book "Invasion of the Space Invaders."

In the book there is a full page photo of Spielberg leaning on his own personal Missile Command cabinet.

Why is that stupid book being sold at $100-300+ everywhere? (ebay, amazon, etc). highway robbery! anyone got a pdf?

Tony Stewart the Nascar driver has several cabinets. My brother has been on several pit crews over the past 20 years and knows all those guys. Tony had a pair of sit down drivers being stored in my brothers garage several years ago.

I'm a celebrity, but I don't want to say who I really am for fear that you would all hound me for autographs and such... Being famous is such a PITA...

Jack White and Ryan Adams are both major pinball guys, they pull a lot of the machines out of the midwest. And didn't someone on here have a James Hetfield (Metallica) machine with his high score?

I remember some KLOV members selling games to William Katt and Adam Savage, although I don't know if they're collectors or not, and I also seem to remember there's a couple of celebs that are regulars at CAX every year.

I saw Ian Ziering at CAX this year. Not a major celebrity, but enough to say oh hey there's the guy from 90210. He was actually upstairs in the pinball tournament room for a few minutes.

Ed Robertson from Bare Naked Ladies is a huge pinball fan. Adam Savage only has the one machine, but was obtained through someone here if I recall.
