Does anyone know of any celebs that are TRUE collectors like us?. I'm not talking about the ones who have arcade games and gamerooms just because they have the money and they can, but ones who truly love the games. I tried google and found nothing. Closest I have ever seen to a celeb with a good number of games were Michael Jackson and Shaq , but they are not collectors.

i know steve (modessitt) has worked on celeb's games before. i don't think he's ever named names, but i know he's mentioned working on and delivering machines to them before.

Todd McCullough - former center for the Philly 76'ers is a huge gameroom fan. He's been featured in a few gameroom mag issues.

Slash is a big time pin-head. He's the reason there was a G&R pin. I'm pretty sure he participated in the design phase.

Vince Vaughn is supposed to be big into it.

The only one I'm aware of (true collector, not someone with a lot of money who buys anything they think "might" be cool) is Ben Affleck. He (at least, used to) keeps a house in MA just to house his games.

Yeah, but he primarily focuses on pins. He doesn't live too far away from me and I am sure he will be at the show all weekend, most likely competing in the pinball tournament.

A big-name online-gaming-software guy around here has about 50 games (some nice title's, too) that he plays when he's not in space.

There are also two movie director's who live local who have gamerooms. One has about 10 games, and the other has about 20.

A couple ex-college-football-coaches (Div 1) have one game, but mainly for the grandkids.

A few big-name actor's and sports figures also have houses around here, but if they have games in them, they haven't called us for sales or service...

I got a call to fix some games for Shea Hillenbrand when he played for the Sox, but he got traded soon after :)

I don't think I could bring myself to work on games for Affleck... Damon maybe...

Lord British is what happens when nerds have too much money. HAH

Steve Wozniak (co-founder of Apple Computers) has a good size game room and has always been a fan of arcade games. He lives near my parents in Los Gatos, CA and he has a game room that surrounds an indoor and outdoor pool. (gamefixer used to be his arcade tech)

He was a big laser game collector and bought his Dragons Lair 1 and 2 when they were released new.

He has been known to give games away for free when he is tired of them.

I got my Dedicated Goal to Go laser arcade game from Eddie DiBartolo's (former SF 49ers owner) game room. It was HUO. He had quite a few games.

Not a collector, but the guy at Brady Distributing told me once that Dale Jr. bought one of those huge horse racing games, the one with the big screen and about 8 podiums where you sit and play on the small screens.... and had it installed in his girlfriend's basement. Then they broke up and he left it there, lol.
