I want to add some extension speakers for a different room of the house. I want to be able to turn off the speakers in the juke (toggle switches) and have all the sound going to the other room. I also want the same (or even better) sound then what I have with the factory speakers. Suggestions on what type of speakers I should get?

Thank you,
Joe

Hi Joe,

I used to like Bose 301 speakers, we installed a number of these in a very large installation running on slave amplifiers but you could connect two or four of these if you get the impedance correct you do not want less than 4 ohms per channel on that amplifier.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know very much about speakers. I found a pair of speakers that are 8 ohms. Will these do the job and sound great?

BRAND NEW PAIR MTX TP1200 12" 600 WATT 2 WAY Tower Speakers
300 Watt MAX (600 Watt PAIR)
150 Watt RMS (300 Watt PAIR)
8 Ohm Impedance
High Power 12" Woofer
6" x 13" High Frequency Horn Tweeter
Dual Low Frequency Ports
5 Way Binding Posts and 1/4" Input Jack
1-3/8" Stand Mount In The Bottom
Carry Handles
Also, is this just a straight hook up? By that I mean only 2 wires to each speaker from the jukebox?

Thank you,
Joe
