Recently started deep cleaning my Rowe CD100 and noticed one cap on the crossover board had a broken leg. I'm going to go ahead and replace all of these caps, but the problem is, there are no discernible markings regarding -/+. Does anyone make a cap kit or reference map to replace them?

All in all, I can read the values, but am unclear on the polarity. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

According to the manual, all 10 caps on that board are bi-polar, so polarity doesn't matter (but using bi-polar caps DOES matter).

I've never seen any cap kits for juke stuff, but I've never really looked either.

Other than the one with a broken leg, I doubt there's anything wrong with your caps. A cross-over network doesn't really strike me as a challenging environment for caps. No source of high heat; frequencies are low; voltages are low unless the volume is really cranked (unlikely in a home environment).

Thank you for all of this information, I really appreciate it.

...and now you've got me curious about my crossover (in my Rowe R-89).

In the years I've owned my jukebox I've taken almost everything apart; read the manual as well as the manuals of other Rowe models several years before and after mine... and never seen the crossover, nor a diagram or parts list of it, or even a mention of it.

It's got to have one. There are separate woofers, mid-ranges and tweeters. Quest time.

Nice. Mine is located near the amp on the right side wall (of the left side).

I found mine. It's in the resonator box at the bottom, behind the left woofer. I never had occasion to remove the speakers, so that's why I'd never seen it.

I'll start a different thread about it at some point...

Recapped the crossover today. 4 of the 10 caps had broken/split legs on them.

Interesting. They were broken off at the base of the cap where you couldn't see it until you tried to de-solder them?

So, does it sound any different now?

They were broken off in the base of the cap. As soon as I flowed new solder in and sucked it out with the desoldering iron, they fell off leaving the broken side.

As far as sounding different, I can't say. I just got my second CD-100 and it came to me non-working. So I just went to town cleaning it from head to toe, replaced the optics, capped the crossover and swapped in some known working driver boards on the amp. Overall it sounds good, but lacks the bass I would like. I also just got it all up and going last night so I haven't cranked it or tweaked much. I'll report back once I tune it in.
