Cd Juke box

If the bill acceptor is missing, I wonder what else inside is missing?

That is Rowe's first CD jukebox and as such, it might need some expensive upgrades.

If it is complete though, for $150 it would be worth it. It can operate without a bill acceptor.

They said it worked a year ago and has been sitting, is it something I want to get into too? I was thinking 100.00

I sold one exactly like that for ~$150 on ebay. It was NOT working, but had some CDs.
I was missing the bill acceptor also.

I got two juke boxes in a lot I purchased, so I was just trying to unload them and came up with a $150 price and it sold.

I'd say you could resell it easy if you don't like it.

Cd Juke

Thanks,

I am wanting one for the basement, I was leaning toward a 45 one but wife wants a cd player. Are these hard to work on? It seems parts are available.

Basement? These are heavy suckers so you know. It has wheels, but I couldn't imagine trying to get that thing down stairs. Hope you have a walk out or some beasts of friends.

The unit opens up pretty nicely and everything was right in your face. Should be pretty easy to work on if you were to swap parts. I tinkered a little, but had no interest so I sold it.

If it works, I'd say go for it. Otherwise it will probably be a headache.

Oh this won't pony up on a dolly then? It looks rather wide to sit on a dolly. Uh oh, if I can't get it downstairs...

Jukeboxes don't like dampness and a basement is not a good idea for it. Jukeboxes don't like stairs. It bounces things around inside the jukebox.

This is indeed a heavy and wide jukebox. I would not suggest going down the stairs with it.

Cd Juke

Thanks,

It is sounding like a bad idea the more I think on it. I have pins and games down there, humidity is not an issue. I am more worried about it fitting and dropping. lol

If you get it, take the player and drum out when you move it down. Left and right channnel plus about 3 harness plugs if I remember. Everything else should stay in place. Bring a cd with you that is displayed on the picture so the tracks match (that may not even matter but I think it will). put in the spot on the drum where it goes and try it out before you take it. Put the box in service mode and press the cancel button it will spin the drum so you can insert the disc. Odds on one half evens on the other.

I don't know how that compares to a Rockola 2000X CD juke, but I got mine down into the basement without an issue and it works fine. I also keep a dehumidifier running to keep the moisture under control.

We had it on a hand truck, two guys at the bottom and two guys at the top. We looped a ratchet strap through both handles and slowly lowered it down the stairs with the ratchet straps and the guys at the bottom guided it. No injuries, no broken bones and most importantly, no broken jukebox! Lol!

I like it, we are looking at one this week. Wife wants one, not worried about humidty, its nice and dry there. Never had issues with pins or games. Glad to hear the can be muscled in without too many issues.
