Ccatalyst game collection - including many old and rare console, and arcade systems.

Hello everyone, i have been collecting for over 25 years now, and have posted up quite a few pics and info on several pretty old and rare systems, come on by and have a look,

http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/170532-ccatalyst-gameroom-collection/

there are pictures posted throughout all the pages, you can also follow my pet project , which is to open up a retro arcade, pics for that project are also posted on the link above.
Come on by and have a look, please post thoughts, comments and suggestions, they are all appreciated.

Many Thanks
Rick

That place will be like a real arcade museum!

Actually i wanted a complete video game history museum, from every console and handheld through the pinball era and arcade machines through the years and around the globe, a snack center with snacks from different countries, such as japan, mexico, china, brazil, etc, and finally ending in video game gift shop complete with console, pinball and arcade machines for sale But alas, i will have to start off with hopefully a neat arcade, and i am still trying to do the snack center and work my way towards my final goal, which was the idea that i wanted to start with from the beginning. I hope you enjoy the progression of the arcade as we get there and maybe see you at the end.

Many Thanks
Rick

wow, rick...... great collection of games man.

were alot of the console systems/games thirft store and swap meet finds?? ive never even heard of some of those systems before.

love the EDOT. is there anyway to get that thing out of the corner and display it properly in the middle of the gameroom or somewhere else so you can display the backglass artwork?? that game is too good to have hiding in that corner.

the only other thing i might do is get that beautiful computer space away from that candy cab. yuck ;)

other than that bravo on a great arcade/console space! chris

Nope ebay almost 80% of the way. the rest from local vendors/owners and a couple of auctions out of town that i drove to.

#2)ive never even heard of some of those systems before.

Some are pretty rare, i collect game systems from around the world , sometimes a system may sound or look strange but it might be an american system just with a different name and maybe a slightly different outer shell, im trying to find 5 - only 5 more, and i feel i will pretty much be done, at least with the game systems themselves. And if the arcade does well the gaming museum will follow.

Understood :) but it was put there as a space nessesity, not because i wanted to hide it, all the games located in that room are packed pretty tight and i squeezed in whatever i could wherever i could to get them in there.

#4)the only other thing i might do is get that beautiful computer space away from that candy cab. yuck ;)

Now, now, i am a big candy & shump fan, heck i have over a dozen of them, even though they might not have the nostalgia or the feel of the classic woodies, but no one can argue how well they are built and the ability to swap out almost every component from the games, control panels, power supplies, marquees and rotate the monitor if needed pretty quickly, and for an arcade that is a huge plus.

other than that bravo on a great arcade/console space! chris

Thank you.
Rick
