CC min baseball wall game- has error, need paeprwork

chicago coin mini baseball wall game. i have one with an issue, the runners dont always make it all the way round on a home run. the batter usually only makes 2nd or 3rd. you can hear the game cycling when the runner is stranded, as if its trying to advance him. i'm looking for a copy or pdf. the game is a nice diversion, but not really worth enough to spend any real kind of money on the paperwork.

thanks

i have a few pics. there are a few on youtube , like the one here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6sqQnYMmHM

mine came like the one in the video, with the optional stand. it suffered a lot of water damage at the base, i tossed it away. i did save the lower backglass, with the batter.. luckily, mine also has the wall bracket, which i plan on using. my artwork was shot, the ink in on the inside and the ball wears it away. i made a new glass for it. you can see the orig glass in the pics.

Not bad pinnut good discussion piece and the reason that I bought the 59' Midway Joker Ball every collection should have a good discussion piece. Adds thought to the collection...

Wish I had what you need man...can't wait to attempt the repro back glass this winter. Thanks for the pics!

Chicago Coin Mini-baseball

I'm looking for graphics for this games front glass and/or a replacement glass.

Also does anyone have the specs on the ball (size and material)? I've heard cork and marble and a guy on utube used a ball bearing.

I have a parts book that seems to have some type of schematic in the back if anyone needs it I'll scan it, but the quality of it isn't great.

Looks like someone put foil tape behind the marque backglass to block the light from shinning through. I want to remove it but I'm concerned that it will remove all the graphics. Any ideas would be appreciated...figured I would try heat first.

i made art work for the game. pm me with your email address and i'll send it to you. it goes on the outside of the glass, so the ball doesnt wear thru it. also, the ball is plastic, and lightweight. a metal ball would be way too heavy,

I sent it pinnut, thanks so much. Did you get your issues sorted out? My parts manual might have some useful info in it if you need. Here is high score and shooter tension adjustment info and the steppers.

the game is up and running nicely. the main problem was when a home run or extra base hit was made, the bases would clear, but often leave a guy on third. also, the animated runners would hesitate when running, and sometimes a runner would strand between bases and the game would just keep running.

the problem was the animation unit. there are spring loaded arms for each base runner. when a hit is made, a coil pulls in and sets that arm. as the runner comes around home, the arm hits a metal ramp that sets its back to its original position. the unit was hanging up on that ramp, mostly one particular arm. i tried various bending adjustments, and finally reducing the tension on the spring for the arm did the trick, its nice and smooth now. i cleaned up the copper on the disc, and all the animation lights work well, to nice effect. i ordered LED lights for the runners, to make it really bright. i hope i like the effect.

i can tell you its not metal, mine seems to some kind of plastic. its pretty light. i would look for a wooden or plastic ball that fits between the hits pins.

klorvinborno

If you've not done so already check Marco's on line they have an extensive list of balls.

Good luck with your search...

Funny one switch mis adjusted, dirty contact, worn spring, etc...Glad you found the issue...great to hear you have this one figured out...

anyone know what the function of the skill gauge on this baseball game is? i havent a clue.

thanks

my game is missing the instruction plaque under the credit button. could someone scan theirs for me, or maybe take a good hi-res picture? also, what material is it? paper? paper under plastic?

thanks

I went to go get mine for you but apparently I don't have one. I don't even have any plastic, just 4 holes where I guess the screws went. If you get a copy let me know

that all i have too, 4 holes :( if i come across something, i'll let you know.

here are instruction card art files. the original, and one i cleaned up. i also had to resize it, it was a bit too small.

have fun
mike
