CAX-make trades, for sale, need stuff hauled to socal, from socal, let's post here

I pm'd a mod mentioning that I think it could have some value to have a sticky thread where guys could talk about what they have for sale, what they need hauled, etc. concerning CAX.

I suppose this thread with either flourish, die, or somewhere in between.

To start:

I can haul a game from sacramento down to cax, or something back to sac if needed. Price is negotiable (very reasonable certainly) or can do it on a trade basis.

I live fairly close to CAX (1 hour away) so probably not much use for transporting games. But I'd sell just about anything in my sig for the right price. Some I'm more attached to than others, of course.

EDIT: **** Ice Cold Beer is not for sale ****

Cax

anyone got a working capcom big blue cabinet they want to bring to cax to sell? or 25, 27" standard res monitor for sale at cax? I'm willing to buy if anyone wants to bring to cax.

I am not going to be able to afford any game stuff until after CAX, but I still think this thread is a good idea. If I think of any parts to get rid of, I will post them here.

Actually, I have one to sell.

Mr Driller 2 pcb. Works great. $140

There are some pics in an old thread; I will try to find them tonight after work.

How much are you asking for your ICB?

I don't have a price in mind really. But that one would be at a premium for sure. That's one of the one's my kids are really attached to. Along with Tron and Super Chexx. So any of those would take a bit more to pry out of my hands. The Spider Man has a Mame computer in it but it's otherwise unmolested. But it's also pretty popular here so I'd be a bit slower to unload that one. The games I'd be most likely to sell would be Tempest, F-14, Rip Off, Asteroids Deluxe and maybe Black Widow. But I'm not looking to give them away or anything.

Should have room for this Sega Token Dispenser, too:

I am trying to put together a run to LA this Friday and return Saturday. If someone wants something moved let me know. I won't have much time at all to run around and pick up games for the trip down so it would most likely have to be brought to me.

Good post, tron guy....

.........I was wondering if there would be a CAX 2012 for sale/trade thread. Was considering starting my own, but ya beat me to it :)

Well, I have a few free goodies and a few I'm considering selling/trading. I'll try and get some pics up as soon as I can, but here is what I can think of off the top of my head:

Free stuff:

1. 33" (might be 34", not sure) monitor with chassis. Untested, but looks pretty clean. I got it for free from wmacmonagle, so payin' it forward...

2. Tempest control panel. For the full sized upright cabinet version. No spinner or buttons, but unmodified with original overlay in okay shape.

3. Time Soldiers control panel. At the moment can't remember if it has controls on it or not. It looks all original and a bit beat up along with some rust. Could be of some use to someone building a multi cabinet and want different panel layouts to swap out.

Stuff for sale/trade (hoping for trades more so):

1. Indiana Jones Temple of Doom Kit. Atari System 1 kit includes working game board (daughter card), populated control panel & marquee. All art in decent shape. Looking to do a trade +/- cash for other Atari System 1 stuff: Peter Pack Rat or Road Runner, partial or complete kits. Game boards/control panel needs to be tested working (hopefully).

2. Complete Solar Fox control panel. For the full sized upright, untested.

3. Complete Tron control panel. For the full sized upright, untested. Has black joystick, but looks all complete. If someone is interested in purchasing I can plug into my Tron to see how everything works.

4. Warlords Cocktail - honestly not sure if I'm willing to let go or not, but I want to 'entertain' trade offers +/- cash. It is complete, HUO (was told, before placed in storage for years) low serial #288 all in pretty decent shape and original. I really want to keep this, but being a 4 player cocktail I didn't realize much valuable floor space in the pretty full Garagecade. For now it sits all snuggled up under a table inside my home office, waiting patiently. If I keep it and get running that's where it will probably sit unless pulled out for indoor parties. I have yet to do any trouble shooting on it, but currently only the red diodes come on when I plug it in - may be just a fuse, LOL. I recently purchased the silk screened repro CPOs, but the current originals are pretty good except for cracking around the bends. A few pictures here: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showpost.php?p=2096979&postcount=154 - if requested, can take a bunch and e-mail if you prefer. Like I said, I don't really want to sell, but there are a handful of machines I would consider trades +/- cash for including Discs of Tron or EDOT, Food Fight, Mad Planets, Satan's Hollow, Tapper, Wacko and Zoo Keeper - maybe a classic popular title 80s pin (needs to be fully working in decent shape) like Pinbot, Heavy Metal Meltdown, maybe even a decent 90s era - whatchya got?....

I have more stuff I need to check including few game boards & control panels. Maybe some more free-bees too....

Other stuff I'm looking for include 720 silk screened art, Berzerk/Frenzy ZZPU multi kit, NOS Paperboy handlebars, 4" leaf WICO sticks in Red/Dark Blue/Green, Tempest Spinner knobs, Total Carnage PCB and others I'm sure :)

So I've had a lot of interest in the Ice Cold Beer game. Even to the point of some very strong offers. But I talked it over with my family tonight and it very rapidly became clear that I can not sell this game. Not right now anyway. But thanks for the interest guys. The only way I'd let it go right now would be for crazy money so I'm going to just go on record that it's officially not for sale.

I can haul these to CAX if necessary.
For sale:

tempest 100% working. $550
monitor is very nice, very low burn, rebuilt a couple of years ago, added a lv6100 a few weeks back.
pics if anyone cares otherwise I won't shoot them (pm me)

paperboy-$360
works great, had to put an lcd in here, couldn't fix the disco med res monitor.
Not in great shape, just decent, no water damage, but not pretty. changed the gears in the controller.

I've got a super clean, ORIGINAL Joust cocktail in EXCELLENT shape that I can deliver to CAX for $1k.

I've also got a complete, reliable and working Omega Race upright available with an NOS controller pot installed, recapped sound section, working external battery holder with onboard batteries removed long ago and (minor) acid damage completely nuetralized. All fluorescent internal artwork intact and in good shape too. Monitor was recapped a few years ago. I'm asking $700 delivered to CAX.

If you want pics just LMK...

I may have an empty F150 truck available to bring a game back to L.A. for a small fee also. Inquire within.
