CAX 2011 - Check in here!

I never realized this, but I actually will be in the US when CAX happens.....but we will be on the East-coast !

Of course Barcade and esp. Funspot are high on the list of MUST visit places (Funspot will be at least two days ;)).

I guess this means that "everyone" will be at CAX and we will have Funspot all for ourselves... :/
Would rather have been at CAX though !

Maybe a small "can't make it to CAX" East-coast meet at Funspot ?
 
I have not missed one yet..

I plan to take the exidy maxflex. I need to get busy with the multicart for it..

Someone hurry up and restore a cloak & daggar so I don't have to bring mine anymore.
 
After going the last 2 years, I am almost certainly not going this year. Seattle show is the priority for me, and 2 shows separated by a month was too much for the rest of the family last year (the newness of it all that made it work 2 years ago wore off by last year).

Would love to see people there again, but hey, come on up to the Seattle show in June! It'll be bigger and better than ever. :D
 
Not really at of KLOVers just gather in small groups at the BAR and BS and whatever we all did meet for a Group pic though more drinking and drinking and the such

We officially meet for the group photo - usually on Saturday at noon, IIRC. It gets posted in M1A's official thread every year.

And yes, KLOVers tend to love the bar. :D
 
Dave, (30F) what is your status? Tickets already bought? What timeframe? I think I should match what you're doing again this year...

Jim: If you're renting a car again, ditto. ;) And I owe you a few drinks, my friend. Of soda if you're still on the wagon, but I hope you slip off a bit for CAX. :rolleyes:

Pretty sure I'm going, but I haven't finalized anything yet. Need to make up my mind here pretty soon. If I go, I'm down for splitting a room again.
 
I will be there. Hopefully Pole Position, Paperboy, and Slugfest come along with me.

Time off work already reserved :D
 
I'll be going. I haven't decided what games to bring, or how to get them there.

Are games with nudity allowed at CAX? I can understand why not, since kids will be in attendance. But couldn't they have an "Adults Only" section for these types of games? I have a Super Pinball Action pcb that I may consider putting in a JAMMA cab to take to CAX if these types of games are even allowed. And shouldn't I get some kind of freebie like a free admission for bringing such a game? :D
