I just checked the schedule and the Padres wrap up a 4 game series on Thursday night against the Giants (July 7). I'm going to try to get up there Thursday, and if anyone is on board, I'd be down to do the Padres/Giants. Game time is 7:15. That would fucking rock. I'm already trying to get some of the guys on board on this one - would be nice to make it happen.

Melissa and I will be there again this year. We are heading down on Thursday to have a little mini vacation in San Francisco. we should be down to Santa Clara Friday evening, so maybe some of us can meet up for a few drinks. I haven't drank down thee the last two years, so I think it might be time for that to change.
Not sure about bringing any games this time; maybe one in the SUV like last year.

I already booked my room and bought my ticket.
Todd if you do go to a game on Thursday you can drive to the Lawrence station near the hotel and take Cal Train to the game.
The train goes right to Pac Bell.
We take it all the time,sure beats fighting traffic and the parking hassle.

- I missed the last few years but am super excited about CAX 2011!
- The girl and I will be there all weekend, and i'm bringing as many games as I can transport from my collection, hopefully 6-8...
- Looking forward to playing Teeter Torture and of course a ton of other classic and unique games, as usual...
- The WTB: section in my sig shows what i'd want to buy/trade for there... hopefully a mini (robotron?) or two, i have some "small" spots to fill in the arcade...

I booked mine through the CAX link and it was $87.
For some reason if you check out on Monday the price goes up.
The $87 rate seems only good Thursday-Sunday.
I would call the hotel since the $87 rate is supposed to be good through Wednesday according to the Cax site.

Zoo Keeper and Super Punchout! are on top of my playlist.
I'm looking foward to meeting more of my peeps this time. I always get too caught up just playing games and never socialize.
My room will be WELL STOCKED with booze/sodas and you're all welcome to come up and hang out whenever I go up to take a quick soda break or a shot of gasoline.
