CAX 2010 - never too early to discuss.

I hope to make it some year... but will probably have to keep it to just the Seattle show this year.

I'm planning on being there again this year. This will be my 10th CAX. Man I was 27 when I first went.... I hate when I get those sudden realizations that I'm older then I think I am.

I should be there (small chance I won't), so put me down as a yes. This will be my 2nd Seattle show and 2nd CAX.

I have been to multiple CAXs and its awesome but which one has more games the Seattle show or CAX?

Not sure what the Seattle show has. I think I heard there were about 450 games at the last CAX and hopefully this year they will also get another section of the building so they can fit even more games.

none of us want you there after you snubbed us all last year...

muahaha " <===thats my evil laugh"

Dude, we got to play shitty ass Domino Man together! I was actually down there more than people think, but couldnt find anyone. It was strange actually. I think the majority of my gaming time was at night when the Rock A Fire movie was playing.

i'm pretty sure CAX has more games... we had somewhere between 250 and 300 units (140+ pinballs, 120+ video games, a number of EM and other random items.)

the show was started by pinball folks so the emphasis has really been on that side. the first show in Seattle two years ago had only about a half-dozen video games and last year we added the new video game room. it sounds like we're keeping the same location at least for this coming year which means only minor expansion on numbers, but i think the organizers are smart to not try to get even bigger until the show has more of a track record.

we did have some great organized competition and world record attempts on both the pinball and video game sides. Roy Shilt ("Mr. Awesome",) Steve Wiebe, Ike Hall, Ben Falls, John McAllister and a few other record holders were in attendance. David Nelson of Twin Galaxies was there as official judge, and Walter Day was there as a special guest. Mark Alpiger also ran a CAGDC event for the best players.

Like Frizz , I wont know till closer , the wife and I wanted to be thre last year , but I had some civil trouble that I have straightend out ( read I kicked his ass in court, defended myself). dont try to sue me on bullshit grounds

anyway, thats all outa the way so this year is a big BIG maybe

Hanging out with Chris would be the only reason for the trip.. no offense but I can't stand CA. I did have some fun in CA when I lived out there, but overall.. it sucked.

Don't like our overpriced housing, gasoline, food, arcade prices, etc......
