Statement Regarding False Claims Against MCA
by MCA » Sun Nov 13, 2011 7:56 pm
My name is Chuck Fitch I am the current owner of Michigan Classic Arcade and I would like to address some of the statements by users in another forum made against MCA that has been brought to my attention by certain individuals that also frequent such forums.
Lately there have been many false accusations made by some of the online arcade community (we think it's one person) regarding our business practices. Accusations claiming that we are a so called "fraud", "scammers" yadda yadda. (and more noise). This individual(s) saw fit to try and remove us as a business from day one as soon as we started advertising on one or two of these forums. I would first like to speak about the so called individual(s) or "user names" involved and to say that many of them if not all of them are posted by the same user and most likely the owner of either the forum or the business we are in direct competition with here in Michigan.
These forum "user names" have actually gone on record to say that we are not a legit business entity and that we are defrauding people. They have actually gone to the extent of making new websites to slander us which is pretty sad. These individuals have never bought anything from our site or hired us for any services so how can they claim we are a fraud?. We have been trying to weather this storm of idiots (online trolls) to keep them at bay but they are relentless in trying to harm our business. Our clients and anyone online that has actually done business with us know what we are indeed a legit and honest online repair service. The people in these forums that are out to try and harm our business has actually helped it by the constant advertising while in turn their actions have actually harmed the forums they frequent (one in specific) leaving a "black eye" on the arcade hobby which is no good. Many forums if not 99 percent of them don't allow users to post this kind of behavior on their forums and will simply delete or ban the comments. However there is always one or two that claim they have rules but don't abide by them on their own site. This is yet again a disgrace to the arcade community and as long as these forum moderators allow it to happen they will soon cease to be a place where people can go and get something out of the forum.
The forum involved in this malicious behavior will not be named here because we will not provide them publicity. This forum in question has gone to the extent of requiring it's members to donate funds in order to post there because they (the moderators and owner) are paranoid to the fact that some of our service clients or online customers may actually go in and speak up or defend our business and integrity. Matter of fact they have hidden the threads so only selected user names, the mods and owner can see the comments placed about us. If you do not donate $$, they will not give you access to their so called "wolf pack" threads. The forum owner at this site has no credibility and neither does those that are keeping the drama going. It's sad that the owner is allowing such drama to take place. What dog he has in this hunt is beyond me.
At MCA our actions speak for themselves, our clients speak for us, and our quality and services are number one in the Michigan Area. While we have nothing to hide we are also very careful as to who (online) we do business with. Many of these forum trolls over the past few days have called us leaving unwanted messages on our phone and have harassed and threatened us in email as well. This is simply a matter of someone getting angry to the fact that we have come on the scene in 2010 and took some business away from some of these old warehouse ops. We can't help that, we live in a capitalistic society where everyone has the right to start a business and sell what they want to sell.
I would like to ask our service clients and online customers to not pay any attention on what you read about MCA in some of the arcade forums. We do not get our business from there nor do we use those sites for any reason. We will however defend our right to be a business and call out those that are trying to screw with it. I thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this and if you have any questions about our products or services please feel free to contact me personally. Please check out our ebay black list located from the link at the bottom of the main page of our website. Some of the characters I speak about are listed there. Please avoid them at all costs.
Thank you
