We have reason to suspect (we'll leave it as gently as this) that a certain principal of Michigan Classic Arcade (or someone in the same room) attempted to join the forums with an anonymous signup today, and then wrote to us to complain when he discovered our new signup policies (referral or donation needed) discouraged anonymous signups.
Within said complaint, this person (we believe) misrepresented themselves as the operator of a large and successful forum system (who wanted to give us advise that disallowing anon signups was costing us most of our traffic). Lucky for us, he isn't as bright as he thinks he is.
We had forgotten about this guy until today. Since he reminded us, we thought it was important to check this section and confirm that this business was mentioned here.
It is, but until the thread title 'Chuck Fitch'.
