Well pretty much i need to get rid of the cat piss smell out of a cab and am looking for some strong advice on what to use. Considering wood is porous i may have to LOCK the smell in but i dont want to use white KILS. Any other options?

Bleach won't completely do it. Go to a pet store and get one of the enzymatic cleaners designed for pet urine. They do an amazing job and won't rot the wood the way bleach will.

Thanks scumbum. That's probably what ill do after i bleach it out.

I tried the bleach method multiple times but it never fully got rid of the smell . I'd do the bleach one time just to get what you can , then get the clear wood sealer in there and it will stop any smell . And it actually looks pretty good , makes the wood look new .

I did 2 coats of Killz ( I know you don't want to use Killz), then I cut an extra bottom for the cab, screwed it inside on top of the pee'd on bottom, sealed the edges with some caulking, then 2 more coats of Killz, then let it sit in the garage for 2 weeks. After that, the smell was completely gone.

Nature's Miracle at the pet store does the trick. Its a little pricey at 40 bucks for about a gallon and a half but I've used it before and had much success. They offer a money back guarantee.

I restored a Ms Pac cocktail years ago that had mice/rat pellets and stains in the bottom of the cabinet. It stunk. I had pretty good luck scrubbing the stripped cabinet out with a Pine Sol solution and a stiff brush, then rinse, rinse, rinse with wet rag and dry.

Get an Ozone generator and seal it in the cab for a while.

i used water based polyurethane on the inside of my Star Wars cab. I let it run down in the seams as much as i could, and after i finally got in all the little crevaces and got them sealed up, it worked like a charm, and looks good, too.
