Hi Gang,

I was hoping that one of you would be kind enough to look through your carriage bolts bin and sell me 4 black #10-24 x 3" carriage bolts for mounting a centipede trackball.

I appreciate your time - thanks!
John

I was hoping that someone might have a set in their stash so that I would have an original set (or at least 'bolts of the vintage'). I have found them online, but it's really not what I'm looking for. Thanks for the link, though :)

All of these are excellent suggestions. I've found that the hardware store tends to sell bolts with raised lettering (as well as the ones suggested on ebay). However, I'd like to find 'originals' (doesn't have to be from a centipede per se).

I draw the line at OEM bolts/screws/nuts. Buy new, sand them, and paint them. It's really not much effort.

Good intentions, but pointless for such a part. I just had to replace a few carriage bolts on a 1940's slot machine I'm resurrecting... Brought an original with me to local hardware store, new one looks identical, perfect. One reel glass on this slot looks like it was shot with a .22, it's two layer laminated glass, repro looks like crap, I'm keeping that original because it actually matters to some collectors, and it looks kinda badass.

We all collect and restore games in our own way. I'ts not for you to say how. especially on my post asking the community to sell me a set of bolts if they want to.

It was merely a suggestion. I vehemently apologize for offending you so. I'll make sure not to comment in any more of your threads.
