Decided I wanted to add a couple pins to my collection, already sold my TMNT and Blitz. As much I hate selling games that I love and as hard as I know it will be to replace I need to sell 1 more game. It's either Carnevil or MK2 that I still need to put the new side art on. I have 2 other shooters and KI1/2 so these games seem like the best choice to sell.
$900 First use for consideration is Carnevil
Pros:
Hard to find game
100% working
New Happ 45 style guns (this is also a con)
Monitor was recently recapped
Cons:
Front left cab corner is broken (planed to put corner protectors on to hide it and protect from further damage)
Side art needs the edges touched up (I can clean up the edges with black paint if you want)
No original green and purple shotguns
Includes 1 untested beat up orange shotgun not installed
Still has original hard drive (I would replace with Cf card eventually)
$1000 Next up is Mortal Kombat 2. Originally a Midway Skins but is the exact same cabinet as MK2 came in.
Pros:
Brand new Sticks and buttons
New control panel overlay (from Boosten HP)
Brand new side art (not installed yet) from boosten HP
Brand new control panel box art (not yet installed)
Original marquee looks great not all faded out
Aftermarket moves Bezel
Cabinet in great shape
Cons:
Non original cabinet
Control panel is a piece of wood I cut to fit so no metal plate like on the original
Sound stopped working last week at our Christmas party so I have to check into that
Yellow tmold (Its my wife's game and she likes the look better with yellow then red)
Side art is not installed yet (I can do it but you may want to do it stays perfect after transport)
Wiring should be finished up. I threw the wiring in it fast to get it going for a party and never got around to finishing it all up. Never wired the coin mechs, coin counter, and menu buttons into the existing skins harness. But all the buttons and sticks work perfectly. But honestly I would just rewire everything if I keep it.
Now that I made the games sound like complete garbage they look and play well but I believe in being 100% honest about the good and bad.
Would consider trading one or both for or towards a pin depending on title. Can also add cash to the deal.
