I just bought a Carnevil machine. Before i picked it up, it worked fine. After the Transport (200 km with a pickup) i wanted to start the game and now i have the following problem.I start the game and when i´m pulling the trigger i can hear a sound but the weapon is not shooting.only in the left corner of the monitor i can shoot. In the monitor setup menu all color screens are ok except the white screen. the white screen is darkgrey.only in the left corner the screen is white.when i adjust the brightness very high then i can shoot almost everywhere but the screen is too bright then and the it has horizontal white stripes.I checked all the cables and connections and i cleaned the guns (inside and outside). Can anybody help me with this Problem?

P.S.:Sorry for my bad english ;-)

It almost sounds like you need a degauss of your tube. The color discrepancy in one corner of the tube is what leads me down this path. Try rotating the cabinet 90 degrees and see if the problem clears up.

ok.thank you very much for the fast answer.
I will try that.

well, from what I can tell...

my Carnevil actually has permanent gauss spots from the previous owners. doesn't affect the game any.

my Blitz '99 has a WG K7500, and it's got issues with the red gun in the tube being on very high, and the green gun is a very dark green, if you were to do the green screen test, it should be like a bright neon green.

your white almost looks blue from the video, is it? I think these monitors commonly failed like this.

my 7500 was a mess, had jailbars and everything, the brightness and contrast wouldn't even really adjust until I re-capped it.

if you have a short in the CRT guns the only way you can fix it is with a monitor rejuvenator. yours doesn't look too bad, that might get it.... permitting that IS the problem. :)

Thank you for your answer.
The white is grey.maybe a littlebit blue-gray.
Isn´t a monitor rejuvenator very expensive?

that's debatable. all things considered, if you have 3 or 4 monitors that have CRT color shorts or are dim, and you buy a rejuvenator for around $200, and you can fix 3 of the 4 monitors with it (I'm not sure if it's 100% effective but if you get em close, then who cares?) and the 4th one just goes *poof*, it's paid for itself and then some because you only have to spend money replacing one monitor, and not the other 3, you know?

I know someone who has one, so I don't really need one. :) see if anyone near you has one. if you're only talking about one game monitor, you might be better off just replacing that monitor. (which in your case, will be difficult... not sure how many 25" medium res's are floating around in good enough condition to replace what you got)

ok.You´re right.
I will look if anyone near me has a rejuvenator because it is only one monitor.
I also think that it could be very difficult to replace the monitor.
