The noncardboard version will contain a "Retrogen" handheld w/ a MK2 cart...

Then maybe it will get a bigger brother with a MK2 pcb
 
You need to build a cab like that with some of the micro joysticks from Mouser... :)

They do have limits in that they are only 4 way switches with push down for select. They would work great for Pac Man and other games that only need 2 or 4 directions, not fighters or others that use 8 way.

It'd be interesting to see a miniature game made with those. :cool:
 
im thinking of building my own joysticks or just mounting a post onto a d-pad. I need to find a better CPO, borrowed that one from a google image search
 
The thing I like about it, is the shape. All of the other mini models are funky shaped, generic side art and sometimes the joy / buttons are too huge for the things.
