Card Whiz

Ok, have been working on cleaning contacts and adjusting. Looks like I have everything working for most part. Not sure ball count or game over is working properly just yet but that'll come later. Still having issues on the 1000 reel counting up endlessly when ball drains...but not everytime. Seems only happens when a certain other thing is triggered on playfield then happens when drains. Havent figured it out yet. Any thoughts from anyone to check??

The reel will need to be taken apart. It has leaf switches and old grease inside it.

Rod...if you're talking about the score reel...I've taken it down and cleaned it already and cleaned switch contacts....??

OK. You will just to follow the schematics relating to the problem at hand.

I've got a 4 player Royal Flush torn down right now. Looking at the RF schematics for the L relay, there are a few score motor switches that are in line with the L relay. I'd have a look at those. Also, have you clean all the jones plugs on the motor board and back box?

Ok...so I've narrowed it down to a single drop target that when dropped and then the ball drains it makes the thousand reel on player one score endlessly. I can't figure out how this is possible. Any thoughts on posibilities?

Did some more troubleshooting...looks like has something to do with the kings relay and/or the Jack's relay...if both Jack's or both kings are dropped it will continuously count up by 1000s after ball drains. Yes...the 10000 reel counts as it should.

Havent even tried a two player game yet. Guess I need to do that.

Hey All. I finally got that prblm figured out. It was both the I relay...or bonus relay...and the KX relay. Bonus relay circuit card was bowed causing a connection issue and KX had contact issue. Both resolved!!!

Next issue...if anyone has some pointers or diagrams. It does not seem as tho it is tracking ball count. Looking at schematic...my best guess is that it has something to do with the player unit. I believe the rotating portion is not in correct position. Does anyone have any instruction on being it's correct??
