I jsut got an Alien vs Predator game in a Super High Impact Football cabinet. It has a card distributor on the side that would be really cool if I could get it to do anything. Is anyone familiar with this cabinet or card dealers like this?

I took all the screws out, but it is still locked. Anyone know how to pick this, or do I need to drill it? I know it cant be connected to the game, but Id like to wire up a button press to pop out a card if possible, does anyone know the voltage or have a schematic how it works?

The monitor appears to be a "Pentranic 1125", but it seems like its not the original one based on the way its wired. Would there have been any reason keep the original plug end attached while adding the monitor plug inline?

And thats not the only weird wiring thing. there are actually 2 power supplies in the cabinet but one of them only seems to be used to tie the grounds together.

Would there be any reason I shouldn't just move all the grounds to the main power supply and remove this?

To add to the craziness, the speaker amp is 9v, so it seems the simply solder the AC out to the power adapter lol. Can anyone recommend a 12v amp I could jsut wire directly to the power supply?

And then finally, there is no marquee light. What should I do to replace this?

The game works fine other than this, so I dont NEED to fix any of these things, but Id like to understand the whole thing a little better and clean it up if possible.

Looks like your typical quick operator fix at a location.

Monitor AC wires. At the very least, use some butt connectors or twist connectors. Get rid of the questionable electrical tape connection.

Ground is ground. I don't see why you can't transfer those wires to the "main" power supply.

Unless the game board is having issues and putting out very low volume, I don't think you need that amplifier. Perhaps you can rewire it to use the left and right channels of the cps2.

Marquee light. Under cabinet fluorescent or led light fixture, led light strip, socket and twist on old school light bulb would all work. Just a matter of preference

I was reading that the LR channels on cps2 boards need an amp to work. I plugged it into a computer speaker and got nothing. Alternatively, I read you can use the jamma speaker wiring for single channel sound. I'm fine with the Amp, I just didn't know if anyone had a specific 12v one to recomend.
