I'm restoring a Krull Cabinet. Someone painted outside yellow like Qbert so i want to paint it Black. I noticed inside is original Black and still rock hard durable for scratches but will sand also to even the paint color.
My question is did they use Kitchen Cabinet Paint and then clear coat to make it durable from scratches and knicks? Or did they use Car Paint?
Someone told me Car Paint would be best as its strong. Do i still paint Kilz Primer and then car paint?
I used Tremclad and Rustoleoum before and it sucks as they still get scratches if i move cabs around basement as best i can so Rustoleum isn't a strong paint.
