when I got home I saw that the simpson party pinball went for $2500, family guy went for $3100, spiderman went for 4100, and the dedicated sega star trek went for $275.

That's a decent deal on the Star Trek even with the nearly 25% mark-up on top of that which means you are really paying $330+ for it.

That is not a bad selection but it's a far cry from the good old days when there were hundreds of classics at Superauctions. I'd guess we won't be seeing that ever again. That really doesn't seem to be the focus of these auctions anyway - the real money is in the games and redemption machines that can be routed, and the pins.

As for the pins, it doesn't seem like much of a deal, those are practically retail prices with the tax and buyer's premium factored in. The pins always seem to go for good coin at those auctions. I guess it depends on how bad you want them.
