I have a chance to get a very nice, non-working one in the near future. By nice, I mean very clean and no visible signs of wear or damage. Play field is very clean as is the back glass and the cabinet. No idea on the electronics, just told that it currently is complete but does not power up. Just wondering if it is worth picking up. Thanks guys.

That's a fun pin - classic 70's feel.

Quite the collectible pin theme as well.

Need a small disco ball suspended over the pin, and 70's music on the juke.

Also, higher scores are enabled if you are wearing enormous platform shoes.

Goodmorning Phetishboy,

Im not sure if you were aware of it or not, but there is an amazing site www.ipdb.org (which is the Internet Pinball Database). Its got tons of reviews, pictures, and information. You should check it out, as it may provide you with the answers you are seeking. Pinball is quickly becoming my favorite, and while I have never heard of this pinball, it looks really neat!

Good luck!

Best,

Jow

Got a pic of the playfield:

You still haven't bought a pin?

Here's my advice to you - finish up another one of your fine restos and sell. Take the profit and buy a fully working, clean pinball. Which one? It really doesn't matter to anyone except pin snobs. Any nice/clean pin is fun in a gameroom setting.

So yes, that will be a negative on this one from me. This could very easily end up being a money/time pit. If it ain't a pin you want, don't waste your time.

Hi there! I appreciate the informative information! You seem like you positively drip knowledge on the subject. Best wishes to you and yours!

Thank you for the kind words. I'm actually new to pinball, so I am trying to become the best sponge I can. You know, so I can soak up as much info as possible? LMAO. ROFLMAO. LOL. :)

I see you are from Avon? What a beautiful place. I have relatives from Minnesota, and remember spending my summers there. They lived off of Gordon St. That was a long, long time ago but my memories of the arcades there were amazing.

Anyway, best of luck with your pinball search!

Hi there!

I actually own a 1978 Bally Lost World pinball machine! I purchased it for more money than I get paid in a year, and consulted the great Tom Callahan when it came time to replace my power board. I had been experiencing intermittent power loss to both lights and solenoids. I reflowed solder on all the header pins, replaced most connectors and shopped it myself. So as you can see, I am not exactly new to the pinball scene. I am by far no expert either!! I appreciate the free 'guru' advice! Best wishes!

Yes, I am well aware of your OMFGROFL Grail "Lost World". You keep posting these threads about random pins in your neck of the woods. I have to assume this is some grand joke on frizzy bear, right?

Seriously, just buy a game that works and you can throw in the gameroom. You have WAY too many projects, and 2 too many young kids that you're better off spending that project time with.

P.S. you need to ask your pimp for a bigger cut than 2%. Surely he'll grant you 5%, just to keep from breaking his fist on your face for asking. 6% though...he'll have to do a cost/benefit analysis.

Broken record: include the price in these kinds of posts.

It's a desirable game. I would definitely buy it for the right price. You can always fix it and sell it assuming you get it for the right price.

Probably < $300. It's a local online auction though with a week of bidding left so I have no idea if it will go higher.
