Captain america made specifically for large screens?

A friend of mine just bought a Captain america and avengers that is in a Guantlet cabinet. We cannot get the game to fit into the screen. Am I right in saying this game was made specifically for a large screen? I assume the previous owner thought that since Guantlet is 4 player that this game would work. Well it works ,it just does'nt fit.

I tested my CA & TA on a 13 inch monitor and it fit fine.

you sure the chassis doesn't just need a capkit? I ran it in my 19" 4900 and it worked fine.

Probably could use a caps kit, the chassis is filthy. The picture just needs to come in more from left to right as you cannot see silver surfers face.

It doesn't "work" that way. The game doesn't care what "size" your screen is. It doesn't even "know" what size screen is hooked up to it.

It is possible that the chassis/yoke combo is mismatched (is the pic to tall to fit the screen as well?), but starting with a cap kit is your best option.

You might want to check the horizontal position jumper as well. This should help you center the image if the horizontal position pot isn't quite cutting it.

I adjusted every single pot there was and it is still too wide for the screen, vertically it's fine

Yes that's it. You are supposed to use a plastic allen wrench, but I have always done it succesfully with a regular metal one.

Also, as Rellik said, you should try the horizontal position jumper, if it has one. Find out what model chassis you have and then someone here can probably point you in the direction of an online manual as well.

Is the image moved over to one side more than the other, or is the entire image to wide for the tube period? If the image is entirely too wide then you will want to post what type of monitor this is so someone can chime in on how to adjust it. If the image is too much to one side then you want to look for a horizontal position jumper or post what type of monitor it is so someone can advise you on adjusting it.

I am the owner of the game in question and as sohchx mentioned horizontally the picture cuts off the 1st players picture (Silver Surfer) and when we did the adjustments it seemed to put a black bend almost like a wide screen format when we tried the adjustments, I guess I will have to do a cap kit for it (which will be my 1st) hopefully i don't shock myself, but I will post a pic tommorrow of the issue.
