Capcom Suicide Repair for Muscle Bomber Duo and CPS2

I have a Muscle Bomber Duo Japanese board that won't boot. I suspect suicide - or double suicide. Does anyone repair these? Or can it be Phoenixed?

Also, is there any person in the US who can help me with Phoenix Roms for my SSF2X and SFZ2 board?

Sorry if this is repeat stuff, but my searches didn't turn up anything...

I phoenix CPS1 and CPS2...

CPS 1: $25 plus parts. Sometimes the EPROMs need replacing if they are too slow or if they are 8bit vs 16bit.

CPS 2: $25 plus parts + 25 Euros for the phoenix code. That money goes to Razoola who created the phoenix code.

Unfortunately Muscle Bomber Duo is a bitch to do... Not only do you have to do all the normal stuff when phoenixing it but you also have to add a 4002 IC and several jumper wires to modify the A board and QSound board to fool the encryption checks.

Is Muscle Bomber Duo possible? I've only found the suicide fix for Muscle Bomber on the dead battery society.

Ouch. Mits is right.

I emailed Tim to see if he has a fix for MBD. Fingers crossed on a response as I couldn't find any fixes using Mr Google's magic index.

No luck.

Looks like there is no fix available for this game.

That sucks. I want this game someday but I guess everyone will just have to change their batteries.

PSA: IF YOU OWN A MUSCLE BOMBER DUO PCB THEN CHANGE THE BATTERIES NOW. THEY CAN NOT BE REVIVED ONCE DEAD. The more you know...

That does suck, because just finding this (dead) one was really tough...

Is it unfixable, or just one nobody has tackled yet?
