I just purchased a used Mini Cute (and it is awesome). I do have one problem related to the monitor. All of the dials to adjust the monitor controls work just fine, except for the horizontal size dial. This dial appears is very loose and does not work. I took a look at my friends Mini Cute and it has the exact same issue. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Am I doing something wrong? The monitor chassis is a Sanwa M1723E. I am guessing that I could never find a replacement for it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Well if it's anything like the monitor I've been pouring over this week, it probably actually works fine.

I recently discovered that this monitor is a Sanwa, and I briefly thought the same about it's Horizontal width coil (H-Size Adjust). Large black knob seen below in the middle of the pot row.

It's not just a pot, but actually an in-built adjustment tool and pot in one. Gently pull on the knob and it pulls outward to engage the actual adjustment pot built into the plastic housing. About an inch of outward travel and it will then turn the pot and make visible adjustments.

Wow - that was the best answer I have ever gotten on a forum (and I have gotten a lot of help from this forum)! That was the exact issue. I never would have thought about pulling the knob out and then twisting it. Now the entire screen is full as it should be. Thanks again!!!

Glad to be of service. Maybe enough tech responses will earn me enough arcade karma for a freebie or super cheap machine :001_ssuprised:

/me stares down a local ad...
