I'm trying to rebuild some Bally Midway power supplies. Does anyone have any leads on finding 20,000 (or 22,000) uf, 16VDC (or higher) axial capacitors (at a reasonable price)? I tried Mouser, Bob Roberts, MCM, MPJA, Unicorn, Allied, Jameco, Newark, Digikey, ebay, and a few others. I am looking for 5 of them. The cheapest I could find was Digikey, at $7.19, with a min order of 100 of them. I found some on ebay for $10 each (and higher). Yikes! Bob Roberts has radial and even mentions using them in place of axial, but I'd like to find axial if I can.

Will these work from ebay?

10 pcs for 12.50 (includes the cost of shipping) = $1.25 each

You can add wire leads, hot glue them in place and save yourself $$

Otherwise you will have to pay the price or lurk ebay until you find a deal.

I could learn to like them at a buck and a quarter each.

Otherwise paralleling two 10,000 uF caps from Jameco looks like the best axial solution.
