Capping the monitor, filter cap and sound board. Since I'm in there, should I buy the inverter cap kit from Bob and take care of that too?

Sure, if you're using it.

If you have the monitor in a Nintendo game, then there is no need to even use it. Just connect the video directly to the monitor.

If you have the monitor in something else, then you might as well cap it, too. I've seen issues that were caused by the inverter board having problems...

Sounds good. I'll have a DK and DK Jr. in the Nintendo cab.

Did not know that it's not used on Nintendo games.....

Thanks again Mod!

If you don't plan on ever using it, there are people who usually wish to buy those inverter boards...

I agree with this....I've also had problems with the inverter boards. BTW, there's only one cap on it......And the "inverter" kit Bob sells is actually a kit to ADD the inverter board to the monitor chassis. All Sanyo EZV chassis have the ability to do inverted video without the inverter board....The problem, Sanyo didn't populate the circuitry. Bobs kit is the parts to populate that circuit, so you can eliminate the inverter board.

Thanks again guys. I'll plug it directly to the monitor and if all is well, will sell the inverted board for a good deal.

True. Forgot that Bob"s "Inverter kit" is actually to populate the empty part of the chassis, not to rebuild the stand-alone inverter board...
