I am recapping a WG6100, after just replacing the flyback. The "standard" kit from Bob comes with many extra components (transistors, resistors, diodes, etc).

Should I replace all the included components, or just the caps? Do the other components deteriorate as they age?

An LV6100 will also be installed.

Incidentally, the old flyback literally blew in half. After replacing it (and only it), the game fires up and works fine.

Well, if it works fine, then you can probably get away with just replacing the caps. Besides, a lot of the parts in his kit are replaced with the LV2000. And you can save the parts for later if you ever need them.

But if you want to make sure the monitor is a close to "bullet-proofed" as possible, then go ahead and replace all the parts that aren't in the LV2000 area, and save the old parts for emergencies...
