I'm doing a cap kit on a K4900 19" and I ran into a problem on one of the caps. The little metal foil footing came off of c507 so I'm not sure that it's making good contact with the board. What can I do to fix this? Can I connect it somewhere else with a wire or solder? See the pic, it's the top leg of c507.

I am assuming it is the '-' side of C507 you are referring to. Try to bend the leg over so that it touches the '-' side of C311 and then solder both legs to that land.

It's actually the + leg. Can I connect that to one of the other +'s on that same trace? Or can I connect it to a '-' on the same trace? It's all the same as long as it's on that trace, right?

Just bend the leg over to the other circled spot in my pic. Or cut the leg off as you normally would and use a spare piece of leg to make the connection.
